The MML is located in Chicago, but our patrons can be anywhere in the world with ScoreShip! Patrons can check out items from the Print Music catalog by mail.

Program Details
- Patrons must have a valid shipping address and valid billing account on file to participate
- Patrons may check out up to three scores at a time through the ScoreShip program
- Patrons with music checked out through the ScoreShip program must return all scores before renting new items

Fees
- Items in the print music catalog can be shipped to any destination within the contiguous United States
- Music can be shipped internationally in certain circumstances, but will likely be cost-prohibitive
- Music will be shipped via USPS and will include return postage

- Patrons holding Student Member or Member+ cards participate at shipping cost
- Patrons holding Member cards participate at shipping cost + 50%

Lost Scores
- All scores will be shipped with prepaid postage for the item's return
- Patrons are responsible for packaging scores for return shipping
- In many cases, the original shipping envelope can be reused for return shipping
- Return packages must be post marked no later than the item's due date
Late Scores
- Patrons may view item due dates by logging in to their MML LibraryCat Patron Profile using their Patron ID
- Patrons who fail to return scores on-time will be assessed an overdue fine from the item's due date until the date of the return post mark
- Overdue fines will be billed to the patron's account upon the item's return to the library
Lost Scores
- Patrons who lose any part of a score will be responsible for the cost of replacing the full score
- Lost item fees will be billed to the patron's account 8 weeks past the item's due date
